In order to be married in the State of Florida, you must obtain a Florida marriage license from any Florida courthouse. Marriage license is valid for up to 60 days. There is no waiting period for out-of-state residents.
The marriage license fee is payable in cash or credit to the courthouse where license is obtained.
Marriage license must be presented to the Wedding Officiant prior to the start of the ceremony. Legal filing of the marriage license is provided by Coastal Beach Weddings as part of your service.
The Bay County Clerk of Circuit Court offers two methods for issuing a Florida marriage license:
1. The first method would be completed thru a zoom video conference, which is by appointment only. Steps for obtaining with this method can be found at: https://www.baycoclerk.com/other-services/marriage-license/
2. The second method of issuing a marriage license would be for applicants to appear in person at the clerk’s office.
